Sunday, December 17th, 2017:

Revolution BJJ invites you to participate in an all-day roll-a-thon (rolling starts at 10 AM and does not finish until 6 PM) AND a 3 hour Muay Thai open sparring session and workout.   100% of the proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief, and the gym will match whatever is contributed (up to $2500).   Muay Thai workout begins at 11 AM and ends at 2 PM.  Participants from ALL gyms are welcome!

Suggested minimum donation is $10.  You're welcome to donate more!  Let's continue the momentum and make a huge difference for those who need it most right now.

Puerto Rico and other islands in the Caribbean were heavily impacted by Hurrican Maria. 84%  of Puerto Rico is without power. 28%  have no running water. They are in desperate need of funds to gurantee they get the supplies they need in order to survive. As a community with a high latino population it would be an affront to humanity to not help our fellow brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico. Global Giving is an organazation that has an extensive list of projects that have gone to helping the global community.  On their website for Puerto Rico and Caribbean Hurricane Relief Fund they stated that their fund " will provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies like food, water, and medicine in addition to longer-term recovery assistance to help residents recover and rebuild. All donations to this fund will exclusively support any necessary hurricane relief and recovery efforts in the Caribbean". If we are able to help further their goal we would be making a huge impact. We need the funds by November 7th. There will be a fundraiser November 3rd at 6 Ives st Danbury, CT. Starting at 8pm there will be entertainment and food to buy.
