Hello, my name is Juliette Damian, and I am one of the Girl Up Pacific Coast Leaders. Annually, we host a feminine product drive in LA, bringing girls from all over the area together to make change and provide necessities to the Alexandria House women’s shelter during Thanksgiving break, on November 26th. While some Girl Up clubs near this area are gathering their products in schools, we understand that there are many people who may want to contribute to this effort but aren’t located near the area or have the accommodations to collect feminine products.

This is the very situation I am in, as I am now a student at UC Berkeley, visiting my home in SoCal for Thanksgiving, and having no place to collect donation drop offs to contribute to the LA donation drive (currently working to reactivate the Girl Up club at my school to account for this issue in the future).

All donations will be used to purchase feminine products and other basic necessities to support the Alexandria House and contribute to Girl Up Pacific Coast’s annual feminine product drive!

All donations, big and small, from Berkeley, and any area that can’t reach this donation location, is much appreciated.

I will be working to expand donation drives such as these to other areas on behalf of Girl Up Pacific Coast, so more people from a broader range of areas can donate in person and show up in person!
