Help Gilbert's Achieve his Small Town Community Dream

Hello, my name is Gilbert Santos-Valencia and I want to thank this lovely community because I have been so blessed to be able to work alongside many individuals over the last 20+ years. I have felt all the support the people of Carmi and it's community has given me all these years.

Unfortunately, after over 20 years as manager, the owners of the restaurant have decided to close and sell the business. I (we) were given less than 24 hour notice prior to the doors being closed permanently. I could not even notify our wonderful customers and friends of the sad news.

This decision has devastated me, my family and my team. We have always tried to give the best of ourself to the community. Alas, this unforeseen event has also left us without employment or a livelihood.

In these trying times, anything can help us as we attempt to establish something for ourselves. We hope that with your aid we can open our own restaurant and can give this wonderful community the same service and hospitality that you guys have given us in the near future. Thank you to everyone that helps and has helped us in these difficult times. We are truly grateful for everything. We've had some fantastic memories with everyone!

*Please pay no mind to the amount we simply had to put a number to it. We don't have a goal in mind, we are simply attempting to help Gilbert and his family. Anything is welcomed.

Money raised will go toward Gilbert, his family and crew to help them through this difficult times and hopefully help them pursue their dream of opening their own restaurant in Carmi for the community.

Holla, me llamo Gilbert quiero agradecer le a esta encantadora comunidad. He tenido la suerte de poder trabajar aquí junto a todos ustedes y sentir todo el apoyo que nos an brindado durante todos estos años.

Desafortunadamente después de más de 20 años los dueños del Tequilas decidieron cerrar y vender el restaurante y solo me brindaron menos 24 horas de noticias antes de cerrar las puertas permanentemente.

Esta decision me a devastado, a mi familia, y a mi equipo. Nosotros hemos intentado dar nuestro mejor para esta cominidad. Desafortunadamente, esto nos a dejado sin empleo y carrera.

En estos tiempos difíciles, cualquier contidad puede ayudar para que podamos establecer un restaurante propio y podamos brindarle a esta maravillosa comunidad el mismo servicio y hospitalidad que nos an dado en el futuro. Gracias a todos que ayuden y nos an ayudado!
