Support Gideon's Final Battle Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ryan Paine, and I’m the proud dad of an incredible 14-year-old warrior named Gideon. Our house is full of love, chaos, and seven amazing kids, but for almost seven years now, Gideon’s life has been consumed by medical battles. Like many kids, he loves Legos and video games, and his biggest dream is to live a normal life—going to school, playing with his siblings, and being free from the treatments and hospital stays that have become his reality.
When Gideon was just seven, he started complaining of elbow pain. We had no idea that this small ache would mark the beginning of his ongoing fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Since then, he’s undergone countless treatments—chemo, radiation, a bone marrow transplant (BMT), and CAR T-cell therapy. Now, as he faces his second bone marrow transplant in November, this is our last hope for a cure.
Gideon will be in Seattle Children's Hospital for the next 4-5 months if everything goes smoothly, and we’ll be supporting him every step of the way. A close family friend has generously volunteered to stay with Gideon and help care for him during his hospital stay. This will be a long and challenging journey, but Gideon is a fighter, and we’re determined to give him every chance to beat leukemia once and for all.
That’s why we’re reaching out to our community, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for support. The financial strain of this battle is overwhelming, and we need help to cover the costs of Gideon’s care and to support our family during this time.
Please consider joining “Gideon’s Army" and helping us fund this final battle for his life. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement means the world to us. Let’s give Gideon the future he deserves—free from leukemia, and full of life, love, and possibility.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
