After a Year of Unimaginable Loss

We are asking for support for Gerri Huston, who is facing a level of heartbreak no one should ever have to endure. On top of losing her home in last year’s Tampa, Florida hurricane, Gerri has now suffered two devastating family losses in just one month.

In October, Gerri lost her sister unexpectedly and now, only a month later, tragedy has struck again.

Gerri’s husband, Chris Huston, passed away suddenly, leaving her emotionally shattered and financially overwhelmed. Chris was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a proud “Papa” to his grandchildren. His loss has brought unimaginable pain to the family.

Gerri has been struggling ever since losing her home to the hurricane, she simply does not have the resources left to cover Chris’s funeral expenses. She is doing everything she can to stay strong, but she cannot carry this alone.

Gerri has to move in with her daughter and her grandchildren. They are all living together in a very small apartment, trying to rebuild their lives piece by piece. This new tragedy has made an already difficult situation almost impossible.
