Hello everyone,

My name is Gerald. I am raising funds to help my mother pay for attorney fees. As we all know, market rent is at an all time high and a struggle to keep up with. My mother's mother *My Grandmother* passed away in August leaving behind her house that was said to be kept in the family. The two executors in control of the house are my mother's older siblings, my aunt and uncle. They decided that they would rather rent the two family home to strangers rather than my mother and actually keeping the home in the "Family". For context, my mother and my younger siblings have always lived 3-5 minutes away from my grandmothers house.

For over 20 years, one of my mothers siblings lived an hour away while the other lives in a completely different state. Not to mention that they both currently have houses of their own. My mother grew up in this house, it would have provided a stable, familiar, and secure home for her and my younger siblings. If not the entire home, just one of the apartments would have been fine. But see my aunt and uncle prefer to bully my mother into settling for nothing without at fight, no compromise or discussion. Those who live in their truth alongside pure intentions will always find a way to prevail. My mother is strong, resilient, and powerful in more ways than she even knows.

A hard-working single mother of 5 who's always shown compassion and empathy to anybody she's crossed paths with. I know many people can attest to her kindness, charity, love, and most importantly her forgiveness. No matter who's done her wrong she always finds a way to forgive, even with my aunt and uncle in this situation she's already forgiven them. Nevertheless, forgiveness can't change other people's perspective and how they treat you.

It was never about money, it's about having a heart and caring about your family members who are currently in need of support. That's why I'm raising these funds to assist her with attorney fees so that she can at least be bought out of her portion of the property. At least then, my mother could receive some type of justice against these cruel people; and I can go to sleep soundly knowing that she can get a secure place to call home for her and my younger siblings. Never asking for anything or anything in return, always keeping her children on the top of her priorities.
