Hi everyone. I'm Cary Horton, and I'm a twin. I recently moved to Colorado, leaving my twin brother in a nursing home back in Mississippi. Gary suffered a stroke on our birthday this year, back in February on the 6th. I found him the next day lying face down on the floor of his camper. He was confused but very alert. It became very obvious to me that he had a stroke because he was unable to help me get himself off the floor since he was paralyzed on the left side of his body. After getting him onto his bed and sitting up, I noticed a droop in his face on the left side. I immediately called for an ambulance before contacting his daughters to let them know. My brother has not been able to return to his home because he's unable to take care of himself or live alone.

Here's the good part. He and I have some really awesome friends that now live in Arizona. Together, we're trying to get Gary and his camper to Flagstaff where he will be taken care of and able to live out his life in the mountains like I am.
