Hello, my name is Stacia, and I’m writing on behalf of my brother Brian and myself. We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to share the story of our beloved dad, Gary Jacobsen.

Gary, a native Nevadan with a heart as big as the state he loves, was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) on May 16th. This diagnosis has been a challenging and life-altering event for our family. As you can imagine, hearing the words "you have cancer" is something no one is ever prepared for.

Our dad has always been the rock of our family, working tirelessly to support us. However, the battle against CML has taken a toll on his health and finances. The cost of medical bills and essential medications has been overwhelming. To focus on his health and undergo the necessary treatments, Gary has been forced to retire early.

This unexpected turn of events has put a significant financial strain on our family. While we are doing everything we can to support our dad, the costs are mounting, and we need your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards Gary's medical expenses and living costs during this difficult time.
