Gary has been the sole provider for his family for well over 30 years. He supported me, his wife, who is disabled with multiple serious illnesses including diabetes, as well as their children and stepchildren. Throughout all these years, Gary never missed a day of work. Always showing incredible dedication and strength.
Recently, Gary was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer which metastasized into his lymph nodes and colon. He entered hospice at home and his loved ones cared for him in his last days, keeping him as comfortable as possible.
This heartbreaking diagnosis brought emotional pain, financial hardship and an uncertain future for his family. Gary’s wife is unable to work due to her health, and the family is facing a lot of instabilities about how they will cover essential living expenses, including rent, utilities, food, car insurance, medical bills, and final expenses.
Gary has used all of the family’s savings to try to manage these costs, and the family is now facing the very real possibility of losing their home. They may possibly have to depend on a shelter at some point. For now they are hoping to keep their home on a temporary basis until they find their way through the Social Security Administration in the worst case. Any assistance would go directly towards Gary’s final expenses and the stability of his family.
We are raising funds to help cover their immediate expenses and give the family some breathing room during this incredibly tough time while they work through Social Security and other assistance programs.
Gary has been a loving stepfather and a hardworking man who always put his family first. This campaign is a way to honor his dedication by supporting the family he cares for so deeply.
Any amount, no matter how small, will help this family get through the coming weeks and months. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign. Your kindness and support mean everything. Anything would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
I never imagined being a widow with young children.
