Hello Everyone,

My name is Garrett and I am starting this fundraiser for my cousins because Garin (G) and his family recently just lost their pup, Jackson (12/7/24). Jackson has been around for a couple of years and was very friendly, cuddly, and was just about everything you could ask for in a good dog. Also, he gave you the best hugs you could ever ask for. Jackson passed away because there was an unknowingly use of the wrong dog food (per the veterinarian) and Jackson had never shown any sign of being sick until his final days. Unfortunately, I was with Garin and we were out of town, working. He heard the news of Jackson being sick and needed to be taken to urgent care. Unable to be there, he had to constantly look for updates, weigh his options, and ultimately make his decision to put Jackson to rest. Jackson did spend his final hours with G’s wife, daughters, and in-laws. Although Garin was able to say his final goodbye over FaceTime, he was not able to give his best friend his final hug good bye.

The reason why I am asking for help is because G was billed $7,000 for medical transportation, over night stay, and care for Jackson. G is extremely hardworking and is the sole provider for his family. He has his wife, two daughters, and a baby boy on the way. G and his family have no idea that I am doing this and I am unsure that he would approve of this, but I know if the roles were reversed, he would do the same for us. I am just going to ask for a partial amount of his bill because I know he would feel guilty if we had paid for everything, let alone anything.
