I met Garcay Williams while walking downtown Greenville, South Carolina. I had encountered him on occasions before. He would be singing on the streets for money. He often tells passersby to look him up on YouTube, where there are videos of him singing on the streets and one video of him singing on a local news program over a decade ago.

On my most recent encounter with Garcay, it was a rainy night and I decided to pull my phone out and record him. Since then, the video has reached over 200K views and counting within 24 hours on social media and fans kept suggesting a gofundme to send tips to Garcay.

So, I created one and 100% proceeds will go straight to Garcay to do as he pleases.
