I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Gaby — someone who’s always shown up for others with an open heart, a bright smile, and endless kindness. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Earlier this year, Gaby unexpectedly lost her health insurance during a difficult job transition. She recently began experiencing intense abdominal pain and had to be rushed to the hospital. Doctors quickly determined that she needed emergency gallbladder removal surgery — a procedure that couldn’t wait.

The surgery went well (thankfully!), but the financial aftermath has been incredibly overwhelming. Without insurance, Gaby is now facing thousands of dollars in medical bills — hospital fees, surgical costs, lab tests, follow-up visits, and medication — all while trying to regain her health and stay afloat financially.

Anyone who knows Gaby knows how hard she works and how deeply she cares for others. She’s never asked for help before — but right now, she really needs it.
