As most of you know, I’ve been in a high conflict custody battle since March of this year. I’m not one to ever ask for help, especially with finances, but when it comes to my children I am asking for help to do what’s necessary for their health and safety. These last couple of months have been financially exhausting since I have been the primary care taker for my children since I filed a temporary restraining order on their father in March. He has stopped all payments for tuition/daycare, groceries, and normal living expenses making me the sole provider for our children. He also has not paid any child support.

I finally had the courage to leave him after 5 years of emotional, verbal, and physical abuse towards our children and I.

We had custody trial on July 17th and my next custody trial date is July 25th. I have already paid my current lawyer 22k and a previous lawyer 5k, totaling nearly 27k spent just for lawyer and court fees, and I still have a bill of 14k. I also have to pay the court reporters after getting the opposing party’s depositions.
