Gabe is a phenomenal person and someone we admire. When he was just 17, Gabe left his home in Venezuela to pursue his education in the U.S. With dreams of one day bringing his family to join him, he worked tirelessly to make a life here. He earned both a bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree, then became a manager at Chick-fil-A. Through it all, Gabe has shown what it means to be honest, loyal, and compassionate. Over the past several years, Gabe has transformed from a new college student into someone we consider family.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances our country, Gabe must now return to Venezuela. This is a bittersweet moment for all of us, as we know how much he has poured into his life here, and we can only imagine the challenges that lie ahead. As Gabe prepares for this next chapter, there are a lot of expenses associated with his move back home.

We want to send him off knowing that he is loved, valued, and supported — and that his efforts have never gone unnoticed. We are reaching out to our community to help ease the financial burden of his transition.
