Support From Waste to Worth Acton
Tax deductible
Our goal as From Waste to Worth Acton is to make Acton aware of how much food is wasted yearly, and how many people are suffering from food insecurity. I am an Acton middle schooler and currently doing a civics project for social studies. As I researched the different topics about our community, I saw that approximately 930 tons of food is wasted per year in Acton, Massachusetts alone, and roughly 34% of people in Acton-Boxborough experience food insecurity currently. This is why I started From Waste to Worth Acton, and we need your help to educate people about food waste and eliminate food insecurity in our town. Even the smallest of donations can make a huge difference. To learn more about our goals and how you can support our mission, please visit our website at From Waste to Worth Acton and please consider donating directly to local community food banks.
