Hi, I'm Parker Lavaroni, I am a current junior in the Team Academy at Archie Williams High School. We need your help to raise money for future backpacking trips!

What is Team?

The Team Academy is a one of a kind public school alternative, outdoor education program. It runs out of Archie Williams High School. It is an experiential learning model that combines the following: Backpacking, Hiking, Community service, internships, rock climbing, wilderness medicine, and academic courses in a cohort model environment. It is the ONLY public school program of its kind.

Friends of the Team Program is a non-profit that helps support Team so we can keep backpacking year after year. This year we DOUBLED in size and need your help to keep Teamies backpacking for years to come.

Here’s what Team has meant to me, Over this year I have made such close friendships with everyone in Team and have gotten to experience the most incredible things while on our trips and day hikes outdoors. It has helped me to become the best version of myself and hold myself accountable for everything that I do.

I’m raising money for my senior year trips and to help all future Team classes keep backpacking.

Our school district does not pay for any of our trips. We must fundraiser for all gear, wilderness guides, transportation, permits, and more! We couldn’t do this without your support. We hope to keep Team alive for decades to come and can only do it with your support. KEEP TEAMIES BACKPACKING and help us to continue to grow and gain infinite wisdom from the wild!
