Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I come to you in a time of profound sadness. Sandro Lazo passed away in a tragic bicycle accident on August 8th, 2024. As you can imagine, this loss has left a gaping hole in the lives of his family and a tremendous emotional and financial burden.

Sandro was a bright 16 year old boy who loved Nutella, playing video games, as well as all things Star Wars and Mario. He had dreams of one day being a director and making movies. He was entering his junior year where he was enrolled in AP courses with some of his closest friends. Sandro expressed himself through his short films and of course, through his curls! His family recognized he had great potential and encouraged him to follow his dreams. They thank Sandro for always being his true self and his friends appreciated his ability to always be accepting of others. He has left behind his loving parents, older brother, older sister, nieces and friends who loved and will continue to love him dearly.

The financial strain that comes with such a loss is overwhelming, and the last thing we want the Lazo family to worry about is the mounting expenses associated with Sandro’s passing. We are reaching out to our community to ask for your help in alleviating some of this burden. Your generous contributions will go directly towards medical bills, and other related costs, allowing them to focus on healing and remembering the wonderful life Sandro led.
