Our beloved friend, Fred, a devoted husband and father of two young children, has recently received the heartbreaking diagnosis of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). This progressive disease, which affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, has already begun to impact his strength, mobility, and ability to provide for his family in the way he always has.

Despite the challenges ahead, Fred continues to show remarkable courage, positivity, and love for his kids. His greatest wish is to create as many meaningful moments with them as possible and to maintain a stable, supportive home as they navigate this journey together.

ALS care is extremely expensive—specialists, adaptive equipment, mobility aids, home modifications, and eventually full-time care. Fred is no longer able to work, placing a tremendous financial strain on the family.
