On the morning of October 11, 2025 a very unfortunate event happened. Something we all in the cycling community dread and wish to never have to encounter. The sag vehicle provided by FP Bikeshop to follow a group of cyclist on their journey to Marco Island took a MASSIVE rear end collision. While no one was seriously injured, it was a very close call and the van happened to be a total loss due to the gravity of the accident. Since it was very early in the morning with not a lot of traffic and Florida being a "no-fault state" this means the person who caused the accident will just walk away and won't be responsible for any damages caused to the van. We all know how important it is for all of us in the cycling community to come together in times like this for support from each other. Any little grain of sand will help raise enough for FP to be back on the road again keeping us all safe. Spread the love and kindness any way you can. Anything helps :)
