Previously, on October 14, 2025, we hosted a Public Forum on how to save the Rule of Law. The program was introduced by Governor Janet T. Mills and featured a keynote address by Harvard Law Professor Noah Feldman. You can watch a video of the event at this LINK.

Before that, on May 1, 2025, Maine Lawyers for the Rule of Law sponsored a powerful declaration in support of the Rule of Law which every law firm in the State of Maine endorsed, as did over 700 individual attorneys. That was followed by a rally in Portland's Lincoln Park where hundreds of Maine attorneys re-affirmed their support for the Rule of law by re-taking their oath to uphold the law and defend the U.S. Constitution.
