THE STORY
Last week I happened to witness a beautiful New York moment: A man helping many strangers jump across a massive puddle in the subway station. I posted a video of this to my Instagram here.
Since then, this video has received over 50,000 likes. In the original post I asked anyone with info on this man's identity to DM me, and multiple people reached out to let me know that he often sits at the Bedford L station in NYC.
On June 25 I found him in the station and took the above photo. He told me his name is Zahir, and he'd heard there was a video of him online. He said he'd be honored for all who were touched by this video to raise funds to help support him.
