I am supporting a group of community health care workers who are ensuring that the young mothers and families they support are safe and have the food and supplies they need to ensure the next generation is safe. Money will be used for groceries, non-medical pregnancy supplies and other items that the health care workers are currently paying for out of pocket. These items will enable these young families to get the care they need while remaining safe in their homes.
