For my mother, Yoon Jung Shin

My mother, Yoon Jung Shin, owned Shins Music Studio. Her life was taken in a heartbreaking act of violence, and I am now facing an unimaginable loss while trying to handle everything that comes after it. I just turned 20 years old, and as an only child whose dad also passed away in 2020, I am carrying this grief with very little support. On top of mourning my mom, I am struggling to afford the funeral home and cremation costs, move the items from her house, and begin creating a memorial to honor her life.

This fundraiser will help cover memorial and cremation expenses, the cost of moving my mother’s belongings, and possibly a storage unit because of the large number of instruments in the home. It will also partially help with immediate living expenses during this overwhelming time. This is currently a dark period in my life, and I ask for help and support as I try to navigate through this horrible situation. Any form of support would be an absolute blessing.
