For my mother, Yoon Jung Shin

My mother, Yoon Jung Shin, owned Shins Music Studio. Her life was taken in a heartbreaking act of violence, and I am now facing an unimaginable loss while trying to handle everything that comes after it. I just turned 20 years old, and as an only child whose dad also passed away in 2020, I am carrying this grief with very little support. On top of mourning my mom, I am struggling to afford the funeral home and cremation costs, move the items from her house, and begin creating a memorial to honor her life.

This fundraiser will help cover memorial and cremation expenses, the cost of moving my mother’s belongings, and possibly a storage unit because of the large number of instruments in the home. It will also partially help with immediate living expenses during this overwhelming time. This is currently a dark period in my life, and I ask for help and support as I try to navigate through this horrible situation. Any form of support would be an absolute blessing. Thank you so much for helping honor Yoon Jung Shin and for offering compassion, care, and support to my family.
