On June 3rd, 2025, our family lost Yassel Maldonado—a loving mother of three, a devoted partner, and someone who always put others before herself. Yassel filled her children’s lives with love, adventure, and support, whether it was cheering them on at football games, encouraging their musical interests, or planning family trips. She was the heart of our family, and her warmth brought us all closer together. Her passion for life was contagious, and she even became a diehard 49ers fan to share in Eduardo’s love for the team.
Now, Eduardo is facing the unimaginable—suddenly a single father to three children, ages 10, 17, and 22. Each of them is unique: the youngest is a football and video game enthusiast, the middle child is a brilliant student with a love for music and gaming, and the oldest is the protector, always thinking of others and spreading kindness. Eduardo is doing everything he can to stay strong for them, but the sudden loss has left the family with immediate financial challenges. Funeral costs, rent due at the start of each month, and medical bills from Yassel’s ER and ICU stay are weighing heavily on them.
