Support for Wayne Johnson’s family in their time of need
Donation protected
Hello, I’m writing this on behalf of staff in the Special Care Nursery at Mackay Base Hospital
Wayne Johnson has been a fabulous and popular teacher at Mirani State Primary School from 2013-2021, and a relief teacher between Marian & Mirani State Primary School since 2022. He shared his love of educating the children of the valley demonstrating professionalism and care of not only students but supported family and staff as well.
Wayne then moved on to work at Mackay Base Hospital as a wards man helping support both patients and staff.
His family has been given the sudden and devastating diagnosis of an aggressive & terminal brain tumour.
Wayne and his loving wife Louise, who is the Nurse Unit Manager in the Special Care Nursery at Mackay Base Hospital, have 3 children; Bethany & Eli at high school, and Jordan at primary school.
It’s with a heavy heart that we are reaching out to the community for this well-known and much-loved family of the Valley region.
While we can’t erase Wayne and the family’s pain, we would like Louise and the children to spend this precious time together without the worry of financial pressures and we are sharing this story in order to support the family during this difficult journey.
Your demonstration of generosity and kindness, no matter how small, can make the world of difference to the family at this challenging time.
All money donated will be given to Louise and the family to help in their journey moving forward.
Thank you for your kind help
