On August 13th our fellow RT, MMC colleague and friend gave birth to her baby boy, Ezekiel, via C section at only 28 weeks gestation. Veronica has been admitted to Stanford for around the clock monitoring because doctors were concerned about baby E’s size. He was barely measuring at 22 weeks. She has been in great spirits but also heartbroken about leaving her daughter Eliana at home. After over a week of monitoring, the doctors decided that Baby E needed to meet the world. They were concerned that if he continued to have decelerations, he may not make it. Like a true warrior, Vero went into C section with confidence and faith that Baby E was going to fight….. and that he did! Weighing 570 grams…..WELCOME TO THE WORLD EZEKIEL! With the miracle of his life comes a LONG journey for Mom, Dad and Sister…… We can offer words of encouragement, prayers, positives vibes etc….. but even more…. We want to bless them with the ability to breathe a little easier. Having a baby in the NICU means long drive, hotel rooms, on the go meals etc….. PLEASE join us in blessing Veronica and her family.
