Hi, I'm Brittany! To my friends & family:

If you know my uncle Kenny, you know he's touched countless lives with his kindness, generosity, and quiet strength. He's the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need- and now, he's the one who needs our help.

Five months ago, my uncle received a life-saving liver transplant. Since then, he has remained in the ICU in Richmond due to complications. His recovery has been long, unpredictable, up/down and incredibly hard on him and our entire family.

His wife (my aunt) Sandy, and my cousin (his daughter) Jennifer (aka Sissy- iykyk), have been traveling frequently between Chesapeake and Richmond to be by his side. They are doing everything they can- balancing work, medical updates, family, emotional stress and the costs of travel, lodging and basic needs. My aunt continues to work as much as she can to maintain their health insurance, even though every day is a struggle.

There is no clear resolution yet, and the emotional and financial toll is growing. My mom & I are starting this GoFundMe to support my aunt and help ease some of the burden they are carrying, so they can focus on what matters most- being by my uncle's side as much as possible and helping him heal.
