Names of father and son killed in Robards train crash released

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Henderson County Sheriff's Office has released the names of two men

who were pronounced dead following a crash involving a train on Cherry Hill Road in Robards.

According to a release, Basten Johnson, 60, and Basi Johnson, 35, both from Orlando, Florida, were pronounced dead after a northbound train struck their vehicle at approximately 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

During a Tuesday's Fiscal Court meeting, Judge Executive Brad Schneider said the two were both employees of Moss Contracting who were working on a solar project in southernneed some assistance getting them home as we prepare to have 2 funerals.
