As many of you know, we lost Amanda too soon at 39. Amanda was diagnosed 2.5 years ago with non-small cell lung cancer which progressed to stage IV before showing any symptoms. Since her diagnosis, Amanda was fiercely determined to live a deliberate and meaningful life placing the well-being of Lucy and Etta above all else. She was an extraordinary mother to our five-year-old twins and a deeply loved friend and colleague.

We are profoundly appreciative for the support we’ve received. Several friends have asked though, how they can help in a meaningful way. In response, this fund has been created to support the twins’ future. We aim to achieve this by preserving the education, activities, and routines that Amanda devoted so much of her energy building for them. Donations will be divided among their college funds, added childcare costs, and summer camps.

There is absolutely no expectation to give. Your messages, meals, and presence have already carried us more than you know. If you feel moved to contribute, we are deeply grateful. Most of all, we ask that you continue to speak her name, recall your experiences with her, and keep her memory alive for the kids.
