Hi, my name is Meredith and my best friend is Trisha. I have been friends with her for almost 15 years, and she has always been there for everyone who needed help.

On Saturday, the 7th, Trisha’s home caught fire while everyone was inside. Her husband, Mike, and their three children were all in the home at the time and thankfully, made it out alive with their 6 dogs and two cats.

Her husband, Mike, bravely went back into the house to try to douse the fire with the hose and got burned in the effort.

Unfortunately, half of the home was destroyed, and the house is now unlivable. They have no homeowners insurance, and the Red Cross says they are not eligible for assistance. I would love it if we could raise enough money to at least replace the children’s clothes and other possessions that were destroyed in the fire. It would be even better if we could come up with enough money to replace their home.
