Alright friends. I'm gonna ask for some help. Please read this. On Thursday my two nephews went to work. They work for a building company and were building a large pole frame building around Lynnville. The skeleton i will call it, was all up and trusses were set and stringers and braces were all done. Trevor and Hunter were the first 2 off the lift onto the roof. No sooner than they got up there( trevor to the top,Hunter half way) something happened. We're not sure what. Maybe a faulty truss broke. Regardless what happened, the entire truss structure fell in on itself to the ground. Im guessing these boys fell around 25 feet straight down. Hunter (16) was brouhht to pella by abulance and soon after transfered to Mercy with a nasty broken leg. They wont even do surgery on it till the swelling goes down which they think will be 7-10 days. At which point i would assume a few more days after that in hospital then come home. Trevor (18)was far worse. Life flight was called because he had/has no feeling or movement in his legs. He is also at Mercy. As of right now they dont really have any good answers. The MRI didnt show anything broken in his back. But they havent really been able to say one way or another on why his legs arent working. We hope and pray that when all the swelling goes down things will return. But there is no gaurentee either. So here's where the help part comes in. I have 2 nephews in the hospital. One for 2 weeks or so. The other one we just dont know. I have a sister and brother in law that are not only trying to take care of their kids, live in a hospital, deal with the stress of everything going on, deal with pissed at the world kids who just want to go home and get back to work and life but thats not whats gonna happen. My sister for sure cant go to work. And i know my brother in law is struggling with a decision of how to best take care of his family. By being there, or by going to work. Which work for him is getting in a truck and being gone for the week most likely. Most of us, if we really think about it, couldnt handle very many weeks without a paycheck. Me included. So im asking all of you to read this, share this, and please help with any amount u can. We can all afford to send 10 bucks. Or 20 bucks. Or whatever u can to help out. Please and thank u all! And pray. Mostly for patience and understanding i think. Long row to hoe for them.
