As we all know, my son Trevor and his fiancée Aleesha just had their first baby. Unfortunately, there were complications during delivery. We thought Aleesha was doing well until early this morning when she had to be taken to the ER. Aleesha has preeclampsia and will be in the hospital for an extended time.

Trevor has been working on FMLA paperwork and did not plan to take all his leave so soon and all at once. Unfortunately, this process will take 3+ weeks to be approved. Sadly, the monthly bills will not pause during medical emergencies.

It hurts a man's pride to ask for help, so Mom is going to ask for all the help we can get.

Trevor has been a hard worker his whole life and will go above and beyond to provide for his family. He will be going from working 70 hours a week to 0. This makes it really hard for new parents to provide a roof and safe place for their new family.
