This past Saturday, tragedy struck when a fire erupted in Milford, leaving a family with nothing but heartache. A home burnt to the ground with two beautiful people inside it. One life lost and the other left in critical condition.

Patty Hittner (67) was the wife of Tony Hittner (73) for over 40 years, and she did not survive the fire. Tony Hittner is hospitalized with severe third-degree burns and burning lungs. Once Tony gets out of the hospital, he will have to start over completely.

The family is doing everything they can to make arrangements but need help to cover hospital bills and help Tony figure out what comes next.

Tony is a proud veteran who served in the Vietnam War.
