Hello Everyone,

Thomas Tobin is a loving father, husband, son, uncle, brother and friend, and he’s someone who has always brought positivity and strength to those around him. For 25 years, Tom has proudly served the Borough of Norwood as a Police officer, rising to the rank of Sergeant. Tom lives at home in Hillsdale with his beautiful family; his wife Kerri, and their two sons, JD and Dennis. He is also a devoted member of St. John's church in Hillsdale. While well rounded, his favorite hobby is his family, where he spends time coaching his sons' numerous sports, leading in scouts, and being a great husband dad and uncle.

Tom is known for his resilience, quick wit, and courage, and devotion. Right now, Tom is facing an incredibly tough battle—he’s been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver. This is the second time in his life that he’s had to fight cancer, and his courage through it all has been nothing short of inspiring. Tom wants donors to know that while the prognosis is dark, his spirit will not be beaten.

As Tom undergoes treatment, the financial strain on his family is growing. The costs of medical care, ongoing treatments, and everyday living expenses are adding up quickly. Our goal is to help ease this burden so Tom and his family can focus on what matters most: spending precious time together. Every donation will go directly toward covering medical bills, supporting daily needs, and providing some relief during this challenging journey, as well as to support the kids' futures.

This GoFundMe was started by the members of the Norwood Police department, and Kerri and the boys will be the beneficiaries, and all donations are greatly appreciated.
