Support for Thomas Ricotta and his Family

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Tom was in a tragic and life-altering motorcycle accident. As he was on his way home to Hyde Park, an oncoming vehicle turned across Tom’s lane, causing a direct collision, hospitalizing him, and placing him out of work for an unknown period of time. He has suffered fractures to his pelvis and spine, along with a severe concussion. Tom is still receiving medical attention at Westchester Medical Center for the injuries he sustained last week, and will require a considerable amount of physical therapy at a rehabilitation center before he can walk again. As the primary provider of his four children this accident has both devastated Tom’s physical and financial ability to support his family for the foreseeable future.

In addition to being a loving father, Tom is an active member of his community, volunteering with the Hyde Park Fire Department, playing the bass drum in the Amerscot Highland Pipe Band, and participating in many charitable functions in connection with the Red Hook VFW and the Peacekeepers, MC.
