Colleen Segura has spent years serving the rural community of Harlowton, Montana as a dedicated nurse, always putting the needs of others before her own. On September 18, 2025, Colleen and her family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when her middle son, Brayden Jasmann, was killed in a work-related accident while performing maintenance for an oil company out of state. Brayden was an athletic and energetic young man who overcame many challenges in life, and was deeply loved by his older brother and two younger half-siblings. His sudden passing has left a profound void in the lives of everyone who knew him.

Colleen’s husband, Jesus Segura, works alongside her as a CNA at Wheatland Memorial Hospital, both of them serving the Harlowton community with compassion and dedication. Now, as they face the heartbreak of losing Brayden, Colleen and Jesus must take time away from work to travel out of state, arrange affairs, and grieve with their family. This means missed income, travel and lodging expenses, and the challenge of caring for their two youngest children during this difficult period. Colleen’s oldest son is also grieving, and the family must find ways to support each other while managing regular expenses and the added costs that come with such a loss.

Colleen is not one to ask for help, as she has always been the one caring for others.
