Melvin and Lesly (Jenny) are the wonderful parents of Angel (3rd grade in Ms. Dewa's class), Valeria (TK in Mrs. Mathis' class), and baby Isabella. Melvin tore his meniscus four years ago and is unable to put off surgery any longer due to his worsening condition. He will be undergoing much-needed surgery this Friday, October 3rd. He will receive a new tendon and they will either fill or file his meniscus, leaving him on bedrest for the next 5 months and unable to work. Their family needs financial support for medical costs, food, housing, and expenses for their baby, as Jenny works full-time and her salary will not cover these costs for the next 5 months.
