Support for the Rhodes family

Many of you will be familiar with the wonderful Rhodes family and specifically the beautiful Lilly-May.

Lilly was born with cerebral palsy and throughout her life struggled with her health and was also diagnosed with dystonia even though as she got older often specific diagnosis was challenged because of the complexities of her condition.

This child and her family have endured so many challenges and fought battles that they simply shouldn’t have had to.

Shortly after her 17th birthday, after weeks in hospital Lilly-May Rhodes left this life on Thursday 29th August and gained her angel wings. Free from pain and the limitations she endured but leaving behind a family absolutely devastated.

Her younger brother Charlie, an avid football fan, was also due to start secondary school only the week after their loss.

Both of Lilly and Charlie’s parents are self employed and due to living at the hospital for over a month and now trying to navigate life without their gorgeous daughter are not receiving any income.

I know there are so many people who will want to help them, they are some of the most selfless people you will ever meet and plenty of us will feel helpless.

But we can help; to take one worry away from them of finances. To be able to find a way forward for them and to give Lilly the send off she very much deserves.
