It’s so hard to lose a parent. But to lose both in the same moment, in the same breath is excruciating.
On Saturday, March 24th, the parents of Halie, Hayden and Reece Platte were called to Heaven in a tragic car accident.
Tonya and Jim Platte touched so many lives by always showing love, compassion and joyful living. It is with grace that they left this Earth together as they have been for so many years.
While taken too soon, they laid a tremendous foundation of strength and faith in their children. They believed in their children’s dreams and had unwavering support that those dreams would someday be achieved.
With that, we are establishing a Go Fund Me account for them to continue their paths and know that they are never alone, their community supports them and that family extends into their work, their church, school and beyond.
We know that Jim and Tonya loved and lived life with passion and we are grateful to have known them, even for a moment.
