Hello, my name is Jesse Ortega and my wife has recently been detained by immigration. We have been working with a lawyer ever since we got married eight years ago, and we’ve been in the process of trying to get her citizenship, or at least a visa through marriage. With the current conditions of our government, it’s been really hard, and the process has been very slow and expensive.

We have three small children together, and one of them is disabled with the inability to walk or feed herself. We need as much support as we can get during these hard times. My wife currently is in a facility waiting on more answers. We don’t have a court date, and we don’t have many answers. All we know is that there will be hefty fines and legal fees while going through this process. We also need support for trying to find a full-time caregiver for our disabled child, as well as general care for our other children.

Any and all support is greatly appreciated and will be going towards helping my children while their mom is not here.
