On Tuesday, March 24, our family’s life changed in an instant when the Nava family home caught fire, leaving our house completely unlivable. At this time, the cause of the fire is still unknown, and we are currently waiting on a pending investigation for more answers.
Thankfully, no one was home at the time and everyone is physically safe—but we experienced a heartbreaking loss. Our beloved cat, Pearl, did not survive the fire. She was a cherished part of our family, and losing her has made this tragedy even more painful.
Right now, we are displaced and taking things day by day as we try to find stability. My mom and aunt are unable to work during this time, and we are currently staying in a hotel while we figure out our next steps after this sudden and devastating loss.
We are facing overwhelming financial stress as we try to replace basic necessities and create a safe, stable environment for the kids in our family during this incredibly difficult time.
Donations will go directly toward:
• Temporary housing
• Clothing and toiletries
• School supplies and daily essentials
• Cleanup and remediation of our home so we can begin the process of making it livable again
The road ahead will not be easy, but with the support of kind and generous people, we are hopeful that we can begin to rebuild.
If you are able to donate or even share this fundraiser, it would truly mean the world to us. Your support will help bring stability back into our lives and give us hope as we move forward.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
