On Sunday, February 27th, the Meester family was surprised by the birth of their beautiful, 25 week old baby girl, Gia Grace. Gia was only 1 lb and 5 oz at birth and required immediate medical attention. Both mom and baby were transported via ambulance to the U of M Children’s Hospital, where Gia is intubated and being closely monitored in the NICU. While stable, both Gia and her family have a long road ahead of them emotionally, physically, and financially. This GoFundMe page is being created to help the Meester family financially as they navigate their daily lives of working, raising their son, Bennett, and visiting Gia as much as they can in the NICU.
