Support for the LAFD our communities heroes

Hi, our names are Eva Bolno and Charli Hayden we are 8th graders who attend Brentwood School in Los Angeles (90049) :

On January 7, 2025, the residents of Pacific Palisades were faced with a terrifying wildfire that threatened homes, lives, and their entire community. These first responders risked everything to protect us, battling intense flames in difficult conditions, often working around the clock without rest.

The LAFD is not just a department; they are our neighbors and community heroes. They put everything on the line to protect our homes, and they don’t always get the recognition they deserve.

Many of my close friends have lost their homes or come close to leaving them and we want to appreciate the firefighters who worked hard and risked their lives to save these homes.

This fundraiser is a way to show our appreciation and help provide the needs of our heros.

Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:

Essential Equipment: New gear, tools, and protective equipment needed to ensure the LAFD has what they need to continue responding to emergencies safely and effectively.

Training and Education: Ongoing training is critical to keeping the LAFD at the cutting edge of firefighting technology and tactics.

Mental and physical Health: We want the firefighters to be safe and healthy and get the things they need.

Every dollar counts.

The recipient of the funds from this fundraiser will be our local fire department in Brentwood located at 12229 Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles CA 90049. The funds will be transferred from GoFundMe to the checking account of Stacy Pineles. After that, a check will be written to this local fire department with the goal of allowing them to use the money to buy personal products and items to improve their quality of life at work.
