Scott Jones passed away unexpectedly on January 25th, leaving behind his wife MaryAnn and their three children: Kat, who now lives in Colorado, and twins Isaac and Jordan, who are juniors at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (OLSH) in Coraopolis, PA. Isaac and Jordan are both thriving in the theatre program at their school and are incredibly motivated and talented teens. Isaac recently won the Prime Stage Awards Best Supporting Actor, with his proud dad cheering him on in the audience. Isaac's acceptance speech reflected the quiet confidence and strong values that Scott and MaryAnn instilled in their children. Jordan is making her own mark by launching a literary and art magazine at school, called OPAL, which has become a creative outlet for many of her peers. The Jones family is faith-filled, and their faith has been a foundation for them through years of MaryAnn’s health challenges. Now, as they face this devastating loss, their faith and the support of their community will be more important than ever. Isaac and Jordan’s Theatre Family at OLSH wants to ensure the Jones family is supported during this time, so Isaac and Jordan can continue to pursue their dreams. Everyone who knows Isaac and Jordan is better for it. Their big sister Kat says she is blessed to have them as siblings, a testament to the values their parents have instilled. Their theatre friends note that Isaac and Jordan go out of their way to show people they matter, truly reflecting God’s light wherever they go. Now, it’s our turn to be the light for this family. While nothing can replace their father, we can come together to make life a little easier as they navigate an uncertain future. Please consider supporting the Jones family in any way you can. Your kindness and generosity will help them find hope and strength in the days ahead.
