It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of my Uncle John Bostrom—a devoted husband, father, and lifelong missionary to Japan. John dedicated his life to Jesus Christ by serving others, spreading love, faith, and hope to countless people. His impact was profound, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

John ran his race well, serving the Lord faithfully until the very end. He leaves behind his loving wife Naomi, oldest son George & wife Julia, daughter Ruth, and youngest son Jay who has down syndrome and will require lifelong care. As they navigate this heartbreaking loss, we want to surround them with support—both emotionally and financially.

With John’s sudden passing, his family is facing not only the emotional burden of grief but also the financial strain of funeral costs, living expenses, and the ongoing care needs of their child. We want to ease this burden and allow them the space to heal without the weight of financial worry.

If John’s life and work have touched you in any way, we ask that you consider donating to help his family during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward supporting his wife and children as they adjust to this new reality.

All funds raised will go directly to Dr. David & Lucy Wilson at Cornerstone Church in Oneonta, AL, who oversee John Bostrom’s financials stateside.
