We are beyond devastated to share that our dear husband, father, brother, and son, Jacob “Jake” Hosmer, passed away tragically in a plane crash on Sunday evening in Bangor, Maine.

To know Jake, as he was so affectionately called, was to know love, kindness, hospitality, and true friendship. He had the kind of laugh that made you laugh just hearing it. Jake was known for his love of flying, pickleball, his amazing hospitality, but most of all, for his deep and unwavering love for his wife, Lily, and their boys, Danny and Aiden. Jake was an extraordinary man who loved God, loved his life, and lived it to the fullest. He was generous, joyful, and deeply devoted to his family. His absence leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be put into words.

As our family grieves this unimaginable loss, our hope is to come together as a community to surround Lily, Danny, and Aiden with love and support as they face life without Jake.
