It is with heavy hearts that we share an update about Daniel Hirsch. Many of you know that Daniel has been fighting cancer for several years and has spent the last six weeks in the ICU with a severe blood infection. Daniel’s condition has now reached a critical point and his family are preparing for life without him. Daniel’s family is his world. His wife Marta is the love of his life and his children, Adrian (engaged to Anna), Simon (with his wife Victoria), Mason, Lindsey and Lauren, as well as a granddaughter due in September are the light of his life. Daniel is known for his heart to lead people to Jesus, both through preaching and worship, and by living a life of faith. He has served for decades in local churches as well as six years planting a church in Hungary. He champions others by encouraging and lifting them up, and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and passion for life. His legacy is one of compassion, faith, and unwavering support for those around him.

The Hirsch family is very close, and the emotional and financial strain of Daniel’s illness and impending loss is immense. They are grateful for the prayers and messages of support they have received, and any financial help will go directly toward medical bills, funeral and memorial expenses, and ongoing living costs as they navigate this heartbreaking transition.
