Last night Patty and Crystal lost everything after a fire destroyed their home in Sundridge. Crystal and her mom got out safely with their cat and the ashes of their beloved Bernie. This fire came less than 3 months after they lost Bernie suddenly the day after Christmas.
Patty and Crystal lost everything they owned, including all the photos and memories of their husband and father.
I have known this family most of my life and Crystal has always been considered a part of our family and I cannot imagine the pain they are experiencing.
While we can't replace the irreplaceable memories they lost of Bernie, I am hoping we can ease some of the pain and stress of losing everything else.
This family has been through so much in a short amount of time and I know they are supported and loved very much, so let's do what we can to help them in any way we can.
