I started this GoFundMe for my aunt & her family. Kelly & Jeremy are driving 2 hours a day everyday to go visit sweet little miss Kady Jane. There is no estimated date as to when Kady Jane will be released from the hospital as she is having troubles eating & breathing due to a brain abnormality. Kelly & Jeremy are missing work to be by Kady Jane’s side at this time. Medical expenses as well as traveling expenses keep piling up. If you cannot donate, please say a prayer for this sweet family as they are dear to me & our entire family.
Here are some words from Kady Jane’s mother:
We began our journey with sweet, little, Kady Jane before she was delivered into this world. Kady Jane was born on Friday, June 8th 2018 at 5:38pm; weighing in at 8lbs. 5oz. In the Lords eyes, our little angel is as perfect as can be.
During our pregnancy, we were scheduled for our typical 24 week ultrasound which we end up completing at week 23. We were later told at our 27 week appointment that the images of her heart chambers were not as clear as they had liked (on the 23 week ultrasound results) so we did another ultrasound. They in turn relayed to us that it appeared that Kady Jane had a possible abnormality within the cerebellum of her brain as well as a possible club foot.
The abnormalities as reviewed over and over and over again via weekly ultrasounds as well an MRI on mommy, were expressed to us as her potentially having Dandy-Walker Syndrome, then it was just a variant of Dandy-Walker, and now Joubert Syndrome (which is extremely rare). The combination of brain and physical abnormalities is what led the doctors and specialists to believe this could be the case for Kady Jane.
Kady Jane has since spent her time in the NICU being monitored on her oxygen as well as receiving phsycial and speech/feeding therapy.
No official diagnosis has been determined at this time as we are awaiting additional results from a genetic/chromosomal screening. What we as a family are asking for, is continued prayers. We know that she is in the Lords hands and His plans are perfect, but understanding and being comforted at times is still very difficult. We love our daughter so incredibly much and are praying that the Lord deliver to her a miracle of healing so that we can have her home in mommy and daddy's arms.
